Have you ever thought about why we believe in God or some supreme power? In my opinion, the truth is that there is no God, no supreme power sitting above us. Yet, this belief is necessary. Because humans don’t want to feel alone during the toughest times of their lives. When everything seems out of control, this faith provides emotional support—a feeling that “someone is there” standing with us.

And it’s not just about God; the concept of karma was created for the same reason. To be honest, karma doesn’t really exist either. It’s just a psychological trick designed by humans to make people fear doing wrong. The idea of “what goes around comes around” became popular so that people would believe every bad action has consequences. In reality, nothing like this actually happens. But humans think that without this concept, the world would descend into chaos.

All these things—God, karma, heaven, hell—were created by humans and later accepted as truth. Why? Because every species, including humans, wants to extend its survival for as long as possible. This was a kind of survival instinct for early humans, helping them maintain moral values and order in society.

But the truth is, none of this is real. It has been said so many times, repeated over and over, that it now feels like the truth. But in reality, it’s just an illusion—a story humans created for their own convenience. And maybe, without this story, we would never have become as civilized as we are today.
