Non verify by visa

I get tired of hearing cc sellers who supposedly have non-vbv cc. The question is, how do they know? Is there any way to know? Because I have many credit cards with which I try to make purchases and most of them don't pass the Visa security. Most ask to send an authorization code to the phone associated with the issuing bank and the card ends up getting burned.
